Imagine if all bills were required to be footnoted with references to which Congressman added a provision to a bill. We could then see from whence the pork comes.
The way it has historically been done, there is no cost to being behind a particularly egregious piece of pork.
Bill Ackman@BillAckman· 18 дек. 2024 г.People have expressed skepticism about how @DOGE can be effective without any formal authority. I think today’s events around the spending bill provide a road map for rapid DOGE progress.
There are three steps to successful DOGE execution:
Step 1 Transparency

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump BLASTED the boondoggle spending bill, calling it “ridiculous and extraordinarily expensive”
He also called for the “communist” Global Engagement Center (aka the government’s censorship wing) to be TERMINATED.
Why the hell was the extension of that

Wrong. The richest man on earth got the government to actually listen to the people who put them in office by allowing the people to have free speech and exercise it on X. They were forced to listen. Not to Elon Musk. But to their constituents.

He will NOT have his Presidency robbed by a lame duck Congress failing to do its job.
Schumer wants to hold the debt ceiling over Trump in 2025 to derail our agenda.

The Republican Party doesn't give Musk power. The people do. And we give him that power when he is obviously right, and obviously on our side, as in this case.
Maxwell Alejandro Frost@MaxwellFrostFL· 18 дек. 2024 г.An unelected billionaire was crowned co-President by the Republican Party. They’ve given him the influence to make a damn post that throws a spending bill into limbo cause House Republicans are scared of him.

The House was set to pass a BS spending bill.
After just a few hours of posting on X by Musk & X users, the bill was effectively killed... potentially saving the US taxpayer billions of dollars.
