The "too dangerous to release" GPT-2 text generator is finally fully released! I've put it up on TalkToTransformer.com for those who like to live dangerously. A sample:

Are V3’s going to be rolling out more aggressively in 2020? I’d love to have some in the Midwest when traveling cross country! HWY 80 and 35 would be great! 🙏

James Prescott Joule FRS was born #OnThisDay in 1818. The Salford-born mathematician, physicist and brewer worked to understand heat. His work is crucial to the 1st law of thermodynamics. The SI unit for for energy is named in his honour: bit.ly/2qHTA00

He was awesome. I squared R heating is why room temp superconductors aren’t needed to carry power long distances efficiently. Just jack up voltage.

What's your opinion on remote work? Irc not a fan of it ?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 22 дек. 2019 г.
Big communication penalty for remote work, which means the gain in talent that won’t move has to be very high

5. To keep some corporate secret safe, don't patent it but protect and encrypt it.
6. A Tesla's ex-employee all. stole the self-driving code when he left for Xpeng.
As you can see, you can still have the situation where a company open-sourced their patents & has data stolen.

Any eta on the hardware update from 2.5 to 3?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 22 дек. 2019 г.
Regarding 2.X to 3 hardware update, that should happen in earnest in Q1. Software feature delta was zero until now, so not much point in doing it before then.

Pretty much, although if there was a way to spend money to solve software problems sooner, I’d love it. The real constraint is finding great software engineers.
