This attitude permeated all pillars of culture and even corporations to create toxic groupthink that we see playing out now where all of them work together to crush their enemy (ESG scores, woke HR depts, firing of dissenters, mandates, etc.) tldr: Our culture is killing us.

Because corporate journalists are the PR arm of the left wing ruling class and have been for over a decade. They did this because the left understands the value of owning cultural institutions like media, film, music, etc. Their billionaires invest tons into this. Ours do not.

DHS statement: “The border is not open, and we will continue to fully enforce our immigration laws.”
This comes as October and November just saw the highest migrant encounters ever recorded for an Oct/Nov & November saw at least 73,000 known gotaways in a single month. @FoxNews

Yeah, legacy media just tell you what you already learned on Twitter several days earlier. Much of the time, they are literally writing stories based on tweets!

Twitter may become a very lucrative investment because as a free speech alternative opposed to deep state controlled propaganda media why would anyone use anything else?
Censored socials from Big Tech and fake news media will drive all of their users to non-corrupt alternatives.

When Dems controlled both houses of Congress and the WH (and Exec Branch), they repeatedly summoned Big Tech CEOs and openly and explicitly threatened them: if you don't *censor more*, you will be punished. And DHS/FBI/CIA applied immense pressure:

For the crime of reporting that the US Security State agencies are heavily involved in Big Tech's censorship regime, and for confessing that he found this deeply disturbing, liberals have spent a full week saying that @mtaibbi has mental health problems and needs therapy.

Most people don’t appreciate the significance of the point Matt was making:
*Every* social media company is engaged in heavy censorship, with significant involvement of and, at times, explicit direction of the government.
Google frequently makes links disappear, for example.
