Those white seats + kids makes me really nervous!!
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 15 дек. 2018 г.
The white seats are actually extremely stain resistant. You can spill red wine on the seats & just wipe it off.

In other words, you may be able to get a Tesla before the $7500 US tax credit drops in 2 weeks, even if you haven’t placed an order yet

Can we please get a setting to auto fold mirrors when garage door opens? So simple but great UX improvement.

How's No confirmation Nav on Autopilot going?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 15 дек. 2018 г.
Pretty good. I have confirmation turned off on my engineering build & interventions are rare. Probably ready to enable no confirmation setting next month.

It’s clear that @elonmusk was playing his workforce woody and tinny from series four to tell them he did not want the 3 to sound tinny. Rather wonderfully they were making my car and I love it!

This part is true. I was trying to explain that we don’t want our cars to have a “tinny” sound.

Love my @tesla but the rear drive unit failed in mid drive this week. Was able to safely pull over. Now waiting for Tesla to replace.
Love driving it but that’s was not a good experience for a 5 mo old car.
Loaner program would be nice @elonmusk - I was told there are none.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 12 дек. 2018 г.
You should def have a loaner. Will take care of it.

Seems likely that we’ll be able to reuse fairings that soft-landed in the ocean. May not need net at all. Would still love to see the catch happen though ⚾️ 👍

Elon Musk disputes a "60 Minutes" tweet that stated he didn't want to be Tesla's chairman again bloom.bg/2Er2JiK
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 11 дек. 2018 г.
Incorrect. “Chairman” is an honorific, not executive role, which means it’s not needed to run Tesla. Will retire that title at Tesla in 3 years. 60 Mins edited out end of my sentence, where I said I could do whatever I want. They cut “provided I have the support of shareholders”.

Important note for US Tesla buyers: Federal tax credit drops by $3750 in 3 weeks.
To be on the cancellation waitlist for delivery this year or if you want a display car, order at Tesla.com or visit our stores. Full refund if Tesla can’t deliver your car this year.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 11 дек. 2018 г.
Also, Tesla policy is that if you order a car without a test drive you get 3 days to return for full refund vs 1 day if you do get a test drive (resources are overbooked)
