This is why we’re all screwed here in California - completely beholden to unelected bureaucrats wielding power over our lives and businesses because of a bill they passed (AB262) under pandemic duress.

This bill needs to be revoked. It gives absurd power to county bureaucrats.

I’m very hopeful our doctors and medical system have learned a lot and doing much better this time round on the spike. These are the two graphs I’m watching closely. Death rate keeps dropping despite spikes. We’ll know more in the coming days. #hopeful

There are a lot of C19 false positives messing up the numbers. Even tests with 5% false positive rate (in *field*, not lab) would show up as ~17 million fake C19 cases even if there were actually none.

Wow. A universal basic income (guaranteed annual income) was what my father recommended as a primary way to eradicate poverty. This is a powerful step forward. #MLK @MichaelDTubbs @AndrewYang

"Innovation has nothing to do with how many R&D dollars you have. When $AAPL came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R&D. It's not about money. It's about the people you have, how you're lead, and how much you get it."

There are a ridiculous number of false positive C19 tests, in some cases ~50%. False positives scale linearly with # of tests. This is a big part of why C19 positive tests are going up while hospitalizations & mortality are declining. Anyone who tests positive should retest.

Btw, Tesla actually receives *least* subsidies of any automaker in US. Federal tax credit applies to other automaker EVs, but no longer Tesla.

Ever notice how enthusiastic your dog can be? In life expectancy, a single day for humans corresponds to a week for dogs. Maybe they know this. And maybe that's why they make every day count.

If SensorTower’s numbers are correct, $SQ Cash App surpassed $PYPL’s Venmo and $JPM with 40 million monthly active users (MAUs) this month. Digital wallets are going to disintermediate and disrupt all kinds of financial@services.
Maximilian Friedrich@maxmhfriedrich· 26 июн. 2020 г.It looks like Cash App hit 40 million MAUs.
SensorTower (data source) was pretty close to Cash App's disclosed MAUs of 24M in December 2019.
If their methodology didn't change recently, and the number is accurate, this would be huge.
1 in every ~7 US adults uses Cash App.
