Making great progress on our deep dive comparing both the hardware and philosophies of @SpaceX’s Starship and the Soviet’s N1. I can’t tell you how many times people have said that Starship will never work because it’s too similar to the a N1. Is that true?… I’ll tell you

Starship payload is 250 to 300 tons to orbit in expendable mode.
Improved thrust & Isp from Raptor will enable ~6000 ton liftoff mass.
