Right now Republican Senators and House members are rushing to state their NO votes because they can see everyone on X is against it.
If Elon had not purchased X ... I wonder if Twitter would now be censoring all opposition and Congress would be moving forward to pass amnesty.

Old Twitter crushed any voices on the right, so half the country had no voice.
X simply allows both sides to voice their arguments.
