He’s right in the short-term, wrong in the long-term.
It will take a massive amount of carbon transferred from deep underground to the surface cycle to change the surface chemistry.
Nothing else matters, so we should leave the farmers and cows alone and generally stop freaking out about climate change.
Moving gradually towards sustainable energy generation (solar & wind) and consumption (electric transport) is fine. No need to panic.
