She is Shana Diez, one of the most competent SpaceX engineers.
In her earlier days at SpaceX, she worked on the Falcon landing, and now she's the Director of Starship Engineering.
It's not about gender, anyone can be a great engineer!

Shana is awesome. Many years ago, I asked her to lead the early VTOL development of Falcon (aka Grasshopper) and she did great work.
Now, Shana is a senior member of the Starship engineering team.
