After the lightbulb, the candlemakers learned a new trade.
After the automobile, the saddle makers learned a new craft.
But after the death of DEI and the NGO Complex, there are no jobs for these people, given the disparity between their skill, intelligence, and expertise

So I do not feel bad for them.

The adjustment will be difficult for many of them, as they are used to being paid a lot for nothing.
They now have to get a real job, which pays fair wages for work that is actually useful to their fellow human beings.
A tough, but good transition.
