When I talk about "activist judges" in San Francisco, this is what I mean. Cutting a deal on a prolific drug dealer. 9 days in jail, multiple deportations, and the judge released him to resume selling fentanyl. That's crazy. @BrookeJenkinsSF

In Valle-Corea’s 2024 drug-dealing case the buck stopped with San Francisco Judge Maria Evangelista. The ex-public defender gave the Honduran illegal alien a time-served nine-day sentence and two years’ probation, under a plea deal, after which he immediately resumed dealing.
