X has been a massive improvement under your leadership, but there are still accounts banned from the period where these activist groups were running wild.
Maybe an end to lifetime bans and transparency about how groups like the ADL pressured X/Twitter would be the next step.

@elonmusk · 4. Sept. 2023
In general, permanent bans will be rare going forward. That is necessary for this platform to be the public square.
I also agree that the ADL should make their explicit demands public. In my opinion, they are excessive, but perhaps the public will agree with them.

The annoying beep from smoke detectors when their battery is low can be very difficult to localize because the audio HRTF (head relative transfer function) gets much of the information from differential results across frequencies. A rich tone is better than a sine wave, and a

The news media's primary business model seems to be stories about Elon get clicks. So anything is newsworthy.
Why don't they cover real stories, like what is happening at our border?

NEWS: X's advertising revenue from the US is still down by around 60%.
This is a significant factor behind X's continuing issues with achieving profitability.
Revenue from non-US advertisers, API fees, and verification subscriptions are looking more positive recently, though.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 4. Sept. 2023
Exactly.
We no longer need to restore US advertising to prior levels for survival.
That said, it would be nice to see it return.

I can testify that the amount of antisemitism I have experienced on X has been reduced significantly over the last 4 months or so. It increased immediately following Elon’s acquisition but has been on a downward slope since February.

If this continues, we will have no choice but to file a defamation suit against, ironically, the “Anti-Defamation” League.
If they lose the defamation suit, we will insist that they drop the the “anti” part of their name, since obviously … 😂

When we were launching Falcon from Kwajalein, those crabs would break into our soda can storage & crack open the cans.
They particularly seemed to like Sprite. Pretty funny seeing a giant crab drinking soda lol.

People imagine some nefarious or impulsive motives behind Elon Musk buying twitter.
The simpler truth is he saw a sick ideology taking hold in society and decided to do something about it.
History will recognize this as a heroic act. wsj.com/tech/elon-musk…

In the future, nobody will shift gears or indicate manually.

𝕏 should boost posts that reply to small accounts and limit those that only respond to large accounts — It helps the mission, further reduces the “lords and peasants” ideology, and give small accounts the chance to shine.

Wow! As recently as 2016 Jonathan Greenblatt sounded like @elonmusk on free speech.
He claimed his only concern was violent threats, but as soon as the ADL got an in to the big tech companies they disregarded free speech and began pushing the most extreme censorship.
