20% of Twitter users make up 100% of the content. 80% are in read only.
I have been a read only user now for 10+ years, recently I started trying out write mode.. it is easily 5x more fun/valuable.
It’s slow going at first, the Twitter dendrites have to form synapses with you

Just lost my Twitter verification, but that's not a real problem. The real problem is the oligarchs who have too much power over the internet.
And our economy.
And our democracy.
Remember, we have more in common with each other than we do with them — blue check or not.

3 months ago, we started building a massive water-cooled, steel plate to go under the launch mount.
Wasn’t ready in time & we wrongly thought, based on static fire data, that Fondag would make it through 1 launch.
Looks like we can be ready to launch again in 1 to 2 months.

Still early in analysis, but the force of the engines when they throttled up may have shattered the concrete, rather than simply eroding it. The engines were only at half thrust for the static fire test.

Prior to Elon buying Twitter last year, @edkrassen and I tried for three years to get the Blue Check.
We didn't want it for status or to pretend to be someone special. We merely wanted it in order to fend off dozens of fake accounts who, at the time, were impersonating us and

An online community like this should be a meritocracy, where everyone has an equal chance, and merit is earned rather than anointed by a corporation. Old school Twitter had found a great expression of merit with following & retweeting. The best rose to the top.

Today’s women are being sold a LIE:
“The ONLY way for you to be happy is to climb the corporate ladder AND have lots of casual sex along the way because: patriarchy”.
We must stop shaming women who's #1 goal in life is raise a family.
Climb the corporate ladder if you want.

Here are our thoughts on what Twitter could do to make the Subscriptions function much better, as well as make Twitter more focused on creators.
1. Allow a user to paywall any post at any point. For instance, if I wanted to paywall this very article, I could have the system
