Reading the details, it is pretty clear that #SpaceX wish to upgrade and move faster than the FAA can approve. It causes constant tension. This fine is almost a rounding error, but that isn't the point.
What do you think, and what is the solution? 🤷

The fundamental problem is that humanity will forever be confined to Earth unless there is radical reform at the FAA!

Let me get this straight...
The FAA has to go back a year and fine SpaceX for stupid violations...
Is the FAA fining Boeing for sending up a spacecraft that left 2 American astronauts at the ISS because it wasn't safe enough for them to take home?
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal· 17. Sept. 2024🚨ELON: SPACEX TO SUE FAA FOR REGULATORY OVERREACH
This follows the FAA proposal of $633,009 in civil penalties against SpaceX for alleged violations during 2 launches in 2023.
The FAA accuses SpaceX of failing to follow license requirements, prompting the penalties.

Amazingly, no Starliner fines for Boeing!
The FAA space division is harassing SpaceX about nonsense that doesn’t affect safety while giving a free pass to Boeing even after NASA concluded that their spacecraft was not safe enough to bring back the astronauts.
There need to be resignations from the FAA leadership.

🇺🇸BERNIE WANTS TO MAKE OZEMPIC CHEAP FOR EVERYONE...
Bernie Sanders revealed that generic drugmakers can produce Ozempic for under $100 a month, far less than Novo Nordisk’s $1,300 U.S. price tag.
He claims the current pricing is “nothing less than excess corporate greed.”
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 17. Sept. 2024
Isn’t there a generic version that costs much less?
Solving obesity greatly reduces risk of other diseases, especially diabetes, and improves quality of life. We do need to find a way to make appetite inhibitors available to anyone who wants them.
I don’t agree with Bernie about many things, but I do on this.

The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see.
Provided the visual cortex is intact, it will even enable those who have been blind from birth to see for the first time.
To set expectations correctly, the vision will be at first be low resolution, like Atari graphics, but eventually it has the potential be better than natural vision and enable you to see in infrared, ultraviolet or even radar wavelengths, like Geordi La Forge.
Much appreciated, @US_FDA!
