Raptor 1 vs Raptor 2! We’re working on a video to accompany the last part of the Elon convo on Raptor! We’re not sure on their mass but we approximate ~2,000 kg for Raptor 1 & ~1,600 kg for Raptor 2. Is this close @elonmusk? Incredible renders by @IzanRamos2002 & @Caspar_Stanley!

Yes, about 20% more thrust & 20% less mass, but focus has been heavily on production rate & reliability.
Mass, thrust & Isp will all improve, as will production rate, reliability & cost.
This is the only way to make life multi-planetary and extend consciousness into the void.
