Ireland is a big problem for a world order that wants people reduced to fungible meat robots. The country is beautiful, clean, economically productive for its size — but it never had slaves. It never colonized anyone. The people didn’t displace any natives, they ARE the natives.

Depends on timeframe. Slavery was standard practice almost everywhere on Earth for the vast majority of human history.
While some countries (eg Denmark) acted sooner, the major push to end global slavery was driven primarily by Britain in the late 18th & early 19th centuries.
