It’s quite obvious that X’s strategy isn’t to court advertisers in order to stay afloat.
Rather, it’s trying to build a product that advertisers will have no choice but to advertise on it.
It’ll make more sense once financial & AI services are launched on the platform.

Subscriptions are also vital to information independence.
Otherwise activist groups pressure corporations who immediately cave in to censorship. Shame on them.
