Many reporters say it's fine that the Pentagon, FBI, and DHS created efforts to "fight misinformation," but it's not. It's a violation of the First Amendment. And by diverting military & law enforcement from cybersecurity to "cognitive warfare," they also undermine our safety.

The problem with “fighting misinformation” is the inevitable politicization of government agencies, resulting in censorship of valid public discourse.
And, at least in America, a criminal violation of the First Amendment.
