Update: yes, the red dots are made-up and wrong.
The image shows zero hits to the engines, but Wald's data was that 58% of engine hits and 94% of fuselage hits were survivable.
Scientific fraud like photoshopping Alzheimer's brain images, or harmless meme-maxing?

The dot pattern suggests WWII bombers are extremely vulnerable in the rear of the fuselage and nose, which doesn't seem plausible.
