USAID: The swamp is deep. One of the activist judges blocking Trump's agenda, Judge John Bates, is married to the founder of a USAID-funded NGO. Carol Rhees is a Democrat lawyer who started Hope for Children in Ethiopia a long-time USAID grant recipient.

I bet that very little (maybe none) of that money actually reached kids in Ethiopia.
The nature of the NGO scams is to have a cause that sounds philanthropic, like “Save the Orphans of Sadville” and then they pocket the money and zero actual orphans are helped.
Have seen this so many times.
