I once said to my former team:
"I care less about what is the smartest thing our model can do than about whats the most stupid thing that it cannot do"
robustness is still a limitation to increased automation

must intuitively be true (the universe cannot hold the information required for √2 or π to exist in it, and the more we understand it the more quantized the universe is). Corollary: mathematics exists “above” the universe. π doesn’t exist but the idea of π does. Platonism

Pi can be (and has been) used in integer form for calculating interplanetary trajectories.
The relevant maximum number of digits of pi is how many are needed to describe the volume of the Universe in Planck cubes (voxels).

Be realistic, by far the most practical way to cool the earth is a superintelligent Dyson swarm.

And that is, of course, how it will be done.
Sentient satellites, launched into Earth-Sun Lagrange points by mass drivers on the Moon, can solve global warming for ~1B years.

Here’s why Elon Musk's TeraFab needs gas turbines alongside solar:
Chipmaking requires stable, uninterrupted power every second of the day. A voltage fluctuation lasting just eight milliseconds can trigger faults across an entire production bay, while one interruption can scrap

Power quality can be solved with Tesla Megapacks.
There isn’t enough nearby land to power Terafab entirely with solar, but it will be partially solar-powered.
