That’s a cool reference, but Leuctra was a one-time shock not a sustainable strategy. Epaminondas caught the Spartans off guard, but Thebes didn’t exactly go on to dominate Greece. Things stayed chaotic, and eventually Macedon swept in anyway.

@elonmusk · 5 juil. 2025
The future strategy should certainly evolve, but it is worth noting that Thebes did actually dominate Greece for a decade following Leuctra

By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it!
When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy.
Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· 4 juil. 2025Independence Day is the perfect time to ask if you want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system!
Should we create the America Party?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 5 juil. 2025
The way we’re going to crack the uniparty system is by using a variant of how Epaminondas shattered the myth of Spartan invincibility at Leuctra:
Extremely concentrated force at a precise location on the battlefield.

No part of California is more than 350 miles from the ocean, a limitless supply of water.
Every time an official wastes their life advising water conservation, or you drive past 100 miles of broke, fallow farms near the I5, or a city burns to the ground, remember.
Water
Alexis Rivas@alexisxrivas· 5 juil. 2025California should be the most agriculturally productive place on earth.
We can make energy abundant and desalinate the ocean. Desal tech has advanced considerably, as has solar and nuclear.
And the brine can be a feedstock for lithium, magnesium, and other critical minerals.

our universe is pretty rare in configuration space - if strong nuclear force were:
* 1% weaker - stars wouldnt make much carbon preventing carbon based life & less heavy element production would delay planet formation & take longer for evolution to occur before stars die
* 1% stronge
