Well said
Flopping Aces@FloppingAces· 28 juin 2026America’s ruling class has performed another miracle.
They took the most basic truths in human civilization ... crime needs punishment, borders need enforcement, schools should teach, welfare should be temporary, families matter, merit matters, and taxpayers should not be looted

Really impressive first few drives with FSD v14 lite!
Big leap in capability and feature set from v12.6.4, it’s tuned for safety right now so it’s taking things slow and smoothly.
Highway performance was notably great. More videos and a very long form review later once I get a few more hours of driving in.

SpaceX just launched 2 Falcon 9 rockets in 10 hours
Falcon 9 lifted off from California and delivered 24 more Starlink satellites to orbit
Then another Falcon 9 launched from Florida, sending SXM-11 private/commercial mission to orbit
Two different coasts - Two Different missions
Two reused boosters - One insane launch cadence
There is no other company that can launch like SpaceX...
SpaceX is operating at a completely different level
At this point, Falcon 9 launches are starting to look like airline departures

Nice work by the @Tesla_AI team!
The AI3 computer only has ~15% of the effective memory bandwidth of AI4, so this was a tough challenge.
K10✨@Kristennetten· 29 juin 2026Drove Tesla FSD v14 Lite for an hour tonight on my M3 HW3 Tesla
WAYYY better than v12.6.4.
I know smoother is often the word used to describe a great build, but it just it fits for this update, very smooth.
Tested HWY, residential, and back roads. All great!

Neuralink is needed to solve the super low & lossy output bandwidth of humans.
Our input bandwidth, thanks to vision, is many orders of magnitude higher than our output bandwidth, but could also be greatly improved.
By addressing these bandwidth limitations and greatly increasing our effective cognitive capacity, human-AI symbiosis will be far better, improving the probability of a great outcome for humanity in the future.

If they genuinely think that the USAID cuts have caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands, or millions, shouldn't they also be highly upset with Mackenzie Scott for not saving all these people?
The cost of the Aid cuts to Africa is something like $5 billion a year, and they claimed that already hundreds of thousands to millions have died. $26 billion could have saved them and more.
Pubity@pubity· 27 juin 2026Jeff Bezos' ex-wife MacKenzie Scott has given over $26,300,000,000 to charity, making her one of the biggest individual donors in history.
She wants to spend the majority of her Bezos fortune on helping others and making the world a better place.

Elon Musk reveals the moment his son Saxon left an entire sushi restaurant speechless
"I was living in L.A., and I took my older boys out for lunch to Sugarfish, which is a very kind of uptight sushi restaurant. In fact, on the menu of the restaurant, it says, do not ask for soy sauce, because the chef has put the right amount of soy sauce."
"So, like, extremely strict sushi restaurant. And so the waiter is going around asking everyone what they want and then it comes to Saxon and Saxon says I'll have a cheeseburger."
"And the waiter takes a moment to recover because no one ever asked for a cheeseburger at this very strict sushi restaurant. It took him like 30 seconds to realize he'd just been asked for a cheeseburger, because you're not even allowed to ask for soy sauce."
"So then when he finally recovered, he said, we don't have cheeseburgers. And Saxon goes at the top of his voice, what? Like, what kind of restaurant doesn't have cheeseburgers? He says, fine, I'll have a hamburger."

Here's one of Michael Crichton's very finest quotes, especially applicable to climate "science":
"I want to pause here and talk about this notion of consensus, and the rise of what has been called consensus science.
I regard consensus science as an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled.
Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had.
Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right ... In science, consensus is irrelevant."
Best to everyone,
w.
