Bill Gates having a more favorable view than Elon Musk proves that propaganda works extremely well.

That said, propaganda does unfortunately work.

Trump admin should consider posting a scorecard every quarter on the following:

The culture of game dev is a bit disjoint from broader open source dev in

Joy Behar has been forced to walk back her comment that Elon Musk was "pro-Apartheid" and admits she was literally just spewing nonsense she knew nothing about:
"I didn't know if he was or wasn't. Maybe, maybe he wasn't. Don't be suing me, OK, Elon?"
Should still sue her since

A more accurate measure of GDP would exclude government spending.
Otherwise, you can scale GDP artificially high by spending money on things that don’t make people’s lives better.
For example, you could shift everyone who is building cars to working at the DMV. That would result in no cars and a much worse standard of living, but GDP would appear to be the same!

Atlanta Fed is now projecting that Q1 GDP will be -1.5%… a contraction.
Last week it was +2.3%

All government spending is taxation.
This point really needs to be hammered home.
Whatever is not directly taxed is taxed in the form of inflation, as the government prints more money.
Inflation is the worst tax of all, as it punishes those who are just barely making ends meet or have gathered some savings.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie· 28 févr. 2025The GOP Budget Resolution that passed the House this week increases the debt limit from $36 trillion to $40 trillion, and spends enough $ to increase in the debt from $36 trillion to $56 trillion over the next 10 years. But yay for tax cuts!
