Not exactly. We just bundled the upgrade package into Performance. No problem if you want to return the car, but I think lifetime free Supercharging is a good deal.

@elonmusk @Tesla I received my Model 3 Peformance with the performance upgrade package 1 wk ago. Now the price is $5000 less. 5k depreciation in a week is a bummer. Will Tesla do anything to take care of customers?

Shame it comes at the expense of the trunk. The model S' hatch is much more useful for bulky items like bikes, high school robots, and the kitchen sink.
