Out of curiosity Elon, do you feel a solution can be found for the planets lack of a magnetosphere? I feel like trying to give the planet an atmosphere won't really be viable if a solution can't be found, even if it's the SUPER distant future.

@elonmusk My sister-in-law is at the Store to pick up Model X - 4th Tesla in the family. Looks like there has been an issue with issuing contracts. Lots of ppl waiting to pick up cars in 14h00.

We’re trying to get rid of contracts completely. Should just be “tap here & you get your car”. Then, if you don’t like it for any reason, just return it like any other product.

Looks good, but so many details need to be right. Journey back from hypersonic becomes extremely difficult as velocity increases. Altitude is easy, velocity is hard.

Exactly. Overheat protection is always on, but you can also tap “maintain” & your car will hold a cool or warm temp for a few hours while parked.

Is there a simple hack -i.e. weight in baby seat results in air conditioning turned on (if internal temp too high) or alarm on phone (via app)?
