Apple claims in a new court filing that @OpenAI is actively destroying crucial evidence in trade secrets case. Apple's lawyers say an initial forensic analysis of an Apple-issued MacBook used by a former iPhone engineer found evidence that he and others at OpenAI were aware of

Sending lots of love to the Apple community on my last day as CEO. My title changes tomorrow, but the love I have for the Apple community never will. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration. My gratitude is endless, and I’m excited for the next chapter!

Talking to brilliant physicists who have thought about orbital compute for 3 hours and are convinced it will never work makes me think of this Keanu Reeves quote: “I'm at that stage in life where I stay out of arguments. Even if you say 1+1=5, you're right. Have fun."

Gavin Baker says the physics PhDs calling orbital data centers impossible on X have not out-thought the 10,000 SpaceX engineers who treat it as solved "It's very hard for me to engage. There are all these people on X and they're like, I am a physics PhD and this is impossible."

When someone who claims they’re super smart says that orbital AI is impossible due to cooling or whatever, but doesn’t even know things as basic as heat rejection of the radiator per m^2, coolant temp or max operating temp of the GPU 🤦‍♂️

A few weeks after our newborns arrived, I kept worrying about getting their bath water temperature right, since newborn skin is so much more sensitive. So I used it as an opportunity to test Grok 4.6 and built a tiny Apple Watch app that checks the water temperature and tells me

Gavin Baker says Grok Bot feels like another ChatGPT moment because it turns hours of Claude Code work into seconds: "You see these 23-year-old kids and just the way they use AI, they're just fluent and native in it. I just feel like maybe in a way that no matter how hard I try,

Two months ago I was testing Grok @imagine to make the Battle of Red Cliffs (赤壁之戰). Now in Grok @bot you can spin up a director, screenwriter, music producer, and cinematographer to create a cinematic movie trailer in one shot. Attached the only prompt I gave to Grok @bot and the rest was autonomous.

Two days ago JFrog dropped CVE-2026-82329, a critical authentication bypass in Artifactory. It’s a CVSS 9.8, a disastrous vulnerability score. It’s like a 9.8 earthquake on the seismic scale. It affects default configs, requires no auth, no user interaction. It’s an RCE bomb

As an OG Blizzard Dev I've never heard a bigger pile of BS. We never cared about politics, built an entire industry out of nothing. We were right, central, left. But what did happen is the Left got radical, and if you were not radical, say middle, you were now deemed Right.
RovRov@ProxyJuice· 27 août 2026
Here is a hard pill to swallow. Conservatives and Right wingers never went to Game Development, the talent and the skills are in the West Coast. Don't cry if the Human Capital has liberal views when you and many conservatives didn't even tried to enter the industry

Sometimes I underestimate how entirely ignorant the general public are about space. This is @nfergus dismissing space colonisation entirely because Starship can’t reach Proxima Centauri (!) and because a Phillip K Dick story precludes colonising Mars (!!) Please speak to someone

He doesn’t get it. By that logic, no one should ever have gone to Britain from Europe in ancient times, given that it is not a proper continent and no one yet knew how to cross the Atlantic to reach China! Let’s take this one step at a time, bro, one step at a time …

the market has always been blind to low value things that are actually high value, in this case turbine blades/vanes. it's clear now the way we've built supply chains the last 80 years was a huge mistake. moving forward we need gigasuppliers for parts.

“Take Down This Pyramid” In 1196, Al-Aziz Uthman, the son of Saladin, decided the structures were un-Islamic monuments and ordered them demolished, starting with the smallest, the Pyramid of Menkaure. Workers spent eight months attempting to dismantle it. They wedged blocks,
