On this day in 1979, in defiance of the U.S. Constitution, Jimmy Carter signed into law the creation of the Department of Education.
Since its creation every academic metric that can be tracked has declined. Federal intrusion always crowds out local ownership.
Get rid of it.

I quit eating bread products several months ago and had the following outcomes.
1. I drifted down to my ideal BMI without any conscious dieting.
2. My continuous full-body inflammation and aching that I assumed was age-related disappeared completely.
3. My sinuses opened

That diet works for a lot of people.
I love carbs (and dairy) and feel great, but don’t have them in large portions.

Meeting with President Putin in #Beijing. Everyone in Europe is asking the same thing: can there be a ceasefire in Ukraine? It’s crucial for Europe, including Hungary, that the flood of refugees, sanctions and fighting should end!

If criminals know they won’t be arrested, then they may as well sell fentanyl and stolen goods openly. No reason to hide.

Notes that cite sources have a much higher likelihood of earning a 'Helpful' status. This is not surprising, as sources make notes more easily verifiable by viewers and raters. Starting today, sources are now required for proposed notes.
We haven’t previously required this, as

We will have to watch this one. Links to actual source data, not some bs press article, are what matter.
Many legacy media organizations have no business model or meaningful circulation anymore – they just exist as propaganda tools for their owners.

INSIGHT: This new move isn't primarily about the $1/year cost. It's intended to be a trivial amount to pay.
It's about the credit card + phone number verification requirement.
Massively harder to scale networks with 10s of 1000s of bots when *every* single bot will require this
