I called Tesla and they said the 1 week return policy is only if you don't have a test drive in your name. In that case you only have 1 day. That's dumb. I am 200km from the Tesla store... Is this even true?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 27. März 2019
No, it is one week either way.

Think starship will be ready to send humans to the surface of the moon within 5 years?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 26. März 2019
I think so. For sure worth giving it our best shot! Would be great to have a competitive, commercial program to build a moon base that is outcome-oriented (not cost-plus), so you only get paid for safe delivery of cargo.

Speaking on plans to return astronauts to the Moon in the next 5 years, @VP Pence says, "America will once again astonish the world with the heights we reach, the wonders we achieve & we will lead the world in human space exploration once again." Watch: nasa.gov/live

That’s exactly it. You’re no longer mentally fatigued after a long drive. Makes a major difference to your happiness level commuting home from work after a long day.
Steven Spencer@sspencer_smb· 26. März 2019@elonmusk not only the enjoyment. after 90 minute trip you are no longer fatigued because of not having to make 100s of *microadjustments*. that is the best part!

Why don’t you have free trials on demand? I never got to try it when I want it. so I was unable to buy it when was on sale. Foolish mistake on your end and @Tesla

Hard to appreciate how much Tesla Autopilot improves enjoyment of driving until you try it
Everyday Astronaut@Erdayastronaut· 26. März 2019@DM3N0 @LPAmdee @elonmusk To be clear, I’m always driving, but I think I have autopilot engaged wellllll over 95% of the drive. Total miles is probably more like 99%

@elonmusk Will Starship need the front canards if Methalox thrusters are used to replace the cold gas thrusters?
Super Heavy likely needs Methalox thrusters for last minute corrections if it is to ever land precisely back on the launch mount, correct?
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 26. März 2019
Yes, otherwise propellant usage for an atmospheric entry would be very high and/or center of mass would need to be very tightly constrained.
Yes, but we’re going to skip that at first to avoid fragging launch pads.

Please note prices on all Tesla inventory cars worldwide rise by ~3% on April 1

To be clear, this doesn’t affect Tesla website order prices. Existing inventory prices are currently slightly lower than on website. This will bring them in line.
