Elon Musk is the only person I trust and want to hold a significant influence at @Tesla
Elon Musk was the primary reason I invested in $TSLA seven years and ~ 2,000% ago — Elon has not once let me down and I look forward with great enthusiasm to the next seven years of stellar

Startup idea: thruster attachment for earth to adjust our orbit around the sun to cool down/heat up to counter the effects of climate change

this possibly unlocks interstellar travel, via an enormous laser sail on a vehicle propelled by distributed high-power laser beams from a massive fleet of satellites.
unlike avatar, you can shrink the payload to essentially an “AGI bootloader” (quite literally, a seed)

Ryan McEntush@rmcentush· 1. Nov. 2025each starlink v3 appears to have ~100 kW of solar (based on array dimensions). starship should carry ~50–100 per flight — call it ~6 MW nameplate per launch at 60 sats.
spacex applied for ~30k sats → ~3 GW of orbital solar in total
if starship hits even conservative projected

Antimatter “drives” ftw imo.

The reason is shadowy moon craters are reservoirs of Helium-3, and you can achieve milli-kelvin temperatures by differential pumping of regular Helium-4 and Helium-3 in a dilution refrigerator
(Heat is carried away by the entropy of mixing)

Just realized that as far as the public information reveals, raptor now matches Merlin on TWR and beats it out on Price/Ton of trust.
Greatest engineering in the world.
Elon Musk@elonmusk· 21. Feb. 2019@fan_of_racing @bkent136 @macodiseas @katlinegrey SpaceX Merlin architecture is simpler than staged combustion (eg SSME or RD), but it has world record for thrust/weight & thrust/cost engine. Raptor has better Isp, but I’m worried it may fall short on those two critical metrics.
Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 3. Nov. 2025
Raptor 3 will probably be 2 to 4 times better than Merlin in $/ton of thrust and will exceed Merlin in thrust to weight ratio.
Raptor 4 should beat Merlin by >10X in $/ton of thrust, with further improvement in TWR and ISP.

as game-changing as starship is, we’re all probably still underestimating it.
elon’s essentially describing a space civilization with power and intelligence capacity far exceeding earth’s within our lifetimes.
a lunar base building 100TW of satellites implies some level of

Elon Musk@elonmusk· 2. Nov. 2025@rmcentush Starship could deliver 100GW/year to high Earth orbit within 4 to 5 years if we can solve the other parts of the equation.
100TW/year is possible from a lunar base producing solar-powered AI satellites locally and accelerating them to escape velocity with a mass driver.
