Like I said, if it’s so great, he should share it with the world and make everyone’s experience with Twitter better. If he does, you will see what I mean.

There is an automatic deboost to replies below Elon's tweets against spam and other malicious activities. The problem is rather than deboost spammers; they are penalizing normal users 🙃

I can understand Elon asking how to run a Python script. There are too many versions of Python, and sometimes the requirements are not obvious.

Somebody at Twitter abused their power (which they should not have) and took it upon themselves to “stick it to Elon” and limit his influence.
This will get to a higher-up and will be fixed for optics during the deal.. but has likely been the modus opperandi to this point.
