Depuis plusieurs mois, les autorités françaises travaillent étroitement avec @Tesla sur les adaptations techniques qui permettront à la France de soutenir son homologation, qui sera décidée au niveau européen dans les prochaines semaines.

You need a lot of energy to get from low Earth orbit to trans lunar injection and then a lot of energy to enter lunar orbit and land.
The added complexity of tethers isn’t worth it imo, but I would love to be proven wrong.
