I agree Martians should self-determine. And direct democracy is the way to go.
Democracy is vulnerable to the madness of crowds and mind viruses, so they’d also benefit from a Martian Constitution that protects individual rights and pro-human values.

Yes, making likes private was an enormously successful decision by X.
I think it also emboldened people to post more controversial, anti-woke takes as well, since it increased likes for such content. Before this change was made, people were afraid to like these types of posts
